Beyond Educational Reforms: A Review of Teacher Preparation in Tanzania

Changes in the educational sector are essential, particularly for improving quality of teaching and learning. This study, therefore, intends to explore teacher preparation practices how they shaped by reforms. Hence, both empirical theoretical studies were reviewed. Furthermore, this research study employed a systematic review approach on 42 articles published range 15 years from 2007-2022, order teacher-preparation The paper highlights reforms it illustrates those factors that shape education-reform outcomes. It portrays educators, not as individuals with mandate make independent choices, but rather innovative practitioners working context characterised rules guidelines derived within beyond arena. recommends teachers’ professional learning should be strengthened colleges, ensure educators only aware innovations emerging daily, due science technology, also enable their at same pace technological developments. implies practitioners, made part parcel process structuring reform program right inception reform.
